Dr. Eliza Lamb is the Founder and Executive Director of the Lamb Center for Arts and Healing. Previously, Dr. Lamb served as Curator of the Children’s Museum of the Arts in New York City and has worked as an art educator for over 20 years in diverse environments ranging from Guatemalan orphanages to Ivy League Universities. Most recently, Dr. Lamb served as a researcher for the VCUarts Arts Research Institute, where she investigated the developing field of arts and health. She is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and holds three Masters degrees from Columbia University in Clinical Psychology, Art + Art Education, and Arts Administration, as well as a doctorate in Art + Art Education. Recently, Dr. Lamb was named RVA's Power Woman in the Arts and Culture Sector by Richmond Biz Sense, and is a proud VMFA Artist Fellow.
